"From Sūtra to Practice: The Tradition of the Worship of Bhaiṣajyaguru in Tibet and the Tangut Empire"
During his master's degree, Enbo Hu studied World History and Religious Studies, specialising in History of Religion, Theory of Religion, Sanskrit and Tibetan at the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences and Fudan University. He is currently working on the research project "From Sūtra to Practice: The Transmission of the Worship of Bhaiṣajyaguru in Tibet and the Tangut Empire". The research serves as a comprehensive case study that examines the process of transforming fundamental Buddhist sūtras, such as the Bhaiṣajyagurusūtra, into ritual practices in the context of Mahāyāna Buddhism.
