Dr. des. Hélène de Brux

Responsibilities

Her dissertation titled "Conversion Narratives of the Mūlasarvāstivāda-Vinaya: A Reflection on the Definition of Conversion in Indian Buddhism" was completed in October 2022 and was led in a cotutelle agreement with the École Pratique des Hautes Études (Paris). She also holds a BA in Art history with a focus on Indian art from the Ecole du Louvre (2012) and an MA in South Asian Studies from the EPHE (2017). She is now a researcher in the project "Buddhist Manuscripts from Gandhāra" (BAdW/LMU) and is also a member of the Groupe de Recherches en Études Indiennes (GREI, Paris).
